I logged on to my computer and went to chat while it sat up there on the wall looking over my shoulder and cleaning it’s feet. Sounds odd, well, it was putting its feet one by one up to its mouthy parts. Quite disconcerting I thought. Cruisin and Sits kept telling me to kill the thing and not be so whimpy…yeah like they would.

Anyway I thought of getting a glass and catching it and throwing it outside but the thought of it escaping and crawling up my arm was giving me the heeby geebies, besides, I didn’t have a glass wide enough, his leg span was nearly as wide as my hand!! As it sat above the back door I was getting the creeps thinking it might drop down on me when I went out side.

So I got a broom with a nice long handle…the more distance between me and it the better…. and gave it a little nudge. It moved a little closer to the door, I gave it another nudge and was able to guide it back the way I presume it had come and out the door.
Then with a little further prompting it moved along and sat on the woodwork outside, above the window and there it stayed.

I then got on with my chores. I had to go down stairs to do some laundry and passed by it on my way…it looked like it had settled there..good, out of my way. After a lttle while I was ready to go back upstairs and just as I started to walk up the sairs…whooosh…. a big black currawong (an aussie native bird) flew right acros in front of me and plucked the ugly, fat, hairy spider right off the wall!
I saw it fly off with spider parts sticking out from its beak.
