New Babies
Last year my resident Magpies brought their babies to visit. since then the babies have grown up and moved on. The mummy magpies have new babies and have been bringing them down from their nest over the past week.
Today they have brought them to visit ( I do put a little bit of food out for them) The babies are so cute…all fluffy and clumsy while they wait for mum to bring them food.
If you go back in this blog to this time last year, there are some pictures of last years brood………..wow the year has gone by quickly!

yes it has gone by fast, I want to find out who is running the “fast forward” button on time and kick some butt! We used to have a squirrel that sat on the window and wait for a nut.
Giggles @ Medic’s comment..”wait for a nut”..lol Is that like a “twisted nut”? hehehe I agree, time seems to be moving in warp speed. The older we get, the faster it seems to travel.
I have soooo many nests around the house now. And the once baby woodpecker that hatched in the spring, is now checking out his old stomping grounds. I’ve enjoyed watching them. It was a blast antisipating watching it’s first flight…and I did get to see him do just that. Smiles!
Awww manda…such the wild life you have. We have rabbits (that my dogs THINK they can catch) and squirrels in our yard every morning! But, alas, unlike you I dont have the camera ready to click!! It has been a fast year…and a lot has happened!!
