We are Social Networkers……….
I got home last night after 9 pm from my trip to Brisbane. I took my camera with me but didn’t get any pictures, well apart from city buildings 
I’m just going to write a quick blog about what I was doing there. the conference was mostly about ICT in non profit organisations and I was attending with 2 hats, one as a manager of a non profit and the other as a Board member of a IT community development non profit organisation.
There were some interesting presentations, but one presenter, Beth Kanter, made a strong impression. Her energy was quite exhausting. She talked about using Social Networks on the internet to promote a cause and how that might be something that people working in non profits could do. Personally, knowing the people I come across in my primary work place, I don’t think it will happen. But, never say never!
