It’s nice to be home again!…Sleeping my own bed makes a lot of difference, though I will miss having all my meals made for me. Thanks mum, for looking after me I did need it I think

Today the magpies came for some food and brought their babies to visit as well. Baby magpies are so funny, all clumsy and still fluffy. They make a lot of noise too, asking for food.

It’s 11 days since I had my surgery and although I do feel better than when I left hospital, I’m still pretty sore. They didn’t do a very pretty job of stitching me up either… it looks quite scarey, maybe it will settle down in a few weeks. I think it will be another week before I venture out as far as the shops.
