More Wattle (Acacia)
The blossoming wattle everywhere has been distracting me whenever I drive around town. I don’t know if it is because there is more this year, they are flowering early or that I am just noticing it more. This morning was a beautiful bright morning, we had a light frost and the sky was cloudless so I decided to go and take some pictures, I had noticed some great looking trees along one of our main arterial roads.
First stop though, I pulled off the main road near our lake, where there are some picnic spots, bike and jogging paths that wind there way through clumps of trees and bushes and open grassland along the lake.

And just to prove it is actually still winter, way in the background, there is a bit of snow on the mountains. This morning when I was out and about it was about 12C (54F) not really T-shirt weather in my book.

You can just see my car parked behind this big tree. There was a lot of traffic this morning so I had to be quick to get shots between the breaks in traffic, this is actually along a main road.

I am standing in the middle of a bike path to take this picture, it looks like I am way out in the middle of now where. Just out of sight at the top of that hill is a big telecommunications tower that has a large glassed in viewing platform and a revolving restaurant. I might go up there some time, but it always feels like it is swaying 
. Anyway out of sight on my right is an embankment at the top of which is a busy main road that goes into the city. We have many cycle paths around the city and a lot of people cycle to work, my son does from time to time as well, he says it doesn’t take any longer than the bus 
After this I headed back home to catch up on housework etc , about 11.30 am.

Pffft, 54F! I’m waiting for Fall so I can have some 54F. Here, that is t-shirt weather, LOL. And by the way, nice trees.
