Exchanging Views
After 25 years living at Moongamba, my mother has finally decided to down size and move closer to me. She is 77 and living in the huge house by herself right on the other side of town to me…actually on the rural outscirts. It is a lovely spot but getting too much to manage and services don’t like going out there so she can’t get help with things.
On one of my walks I found a town house for sale that I thought would suite mum better than moving into a retirement home (she put her name down for a unit and the company is looking for her to make a decision but the place is really cramped)
Any way, the town house is by the lake near me and has a lovely view. Mum really likes it and so the stress of buying and selling houses has begun. WE are to visit the solicitor this morning to look at contracts. Meanwhile Moongamba has been advertised and goes up for auction on 28 March.

Agrees with Sassy:) Both views are beautiful but I’m sure there are some lovely memories tied into the house in Moongamba. Lots of new memories to be made at her new place…plus the pleasure of having her closer will make it sweet for you both:) Hope the stress of selling & moving are few…it looks like a win/win deal!
